Description:
After a short chase, I was able to catch up to the trailing locomotive (CN 2669) on distributed power intermodal with serious problems that would soon shut the train down. From radio scanner I learned train was heading for Brampton, but was forced to a siding to wait for the "diesel doc", likely stationed at nearby MacMillan yard in Concord, Ontario.

Description:
GO Transit, CN and VIA have upgraded track, stations, and platforms, and built several new glass structures along the busy Toronto/Montreal corridor to allow passengers to cross over to aejoining platforms. Here eastbound CN intermodal roars through Oshawa Station while GOT 640 prepares to push westward out of the station. In the distance is GOT 606 about qo arrive. I am waiting for VIA Train 52 that is a few minutes behind the CN intermodal and will take me to my business meeting in the nation's capital Ottawa.

Description:
As I head for retirement in the Niagara area, I look forward to spending more time at this cool CN yard (also a home to CSX and Norfolk Western locos) - right at the International Bridge linking tracks between USA and Canada. Great railroad history and remnants to investigate and explore - not only on the Canadian side, but just across the border in Buffalo too!
